As a new doTERRA seller I have been studying the many uses of the essential oils. As a new mom I am very conscious about the products I use around the kitchen, bathrooms, counters, in the air and on our bodies. I fully warn reader that I will be posting my great new findings on how to transition from using chemicals around the home to using natural products!
First on deck – Foaming Hand Wash! This couldn’t be simpler…so theres really no excuse to not make it!
Aside from being simple, this hand soap hardly takes any time. The best part? You save a lot of money making it yourself, it will last quite a while, and it smells awesome.
What You’ll Need:
- As many foaming soap bottles as you want to fill
- Dr. Bronners Unscented Castile Soap
- essential oil (the options are endless! ex. Wild Orange Peel, Clove Bud, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Flower, peppermint, lemon)
- a funnel
- measuring cups
Measure 1/4 cup of the castile soap, and pour into a soap bottle.
Fill the rest of the bottle with water
Add 10-12 drops of essential oil
Shake to blend. That’s it!
* The soap may seperate if it sits for a while, simply shake it up before using. Enjoy!
